 Members will be aware that last year, Whitfield Essate had to abort the work to dredge the top end of this lake to remove reed mace and deepen the water, because of flooding.

The work is now proposed to start on 2 September 2013, and we hope to re-open the lake for fishing on 16 September if all goes well. We will keep you posted on progress.
